Tomato basil sauce

 4 tbsp butter

1/2 cup onion

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp basil

3 ounces tomato paste

1 cup heavy cream- or milk

3/4 cup parmesean cheese


Melt butter in a pan, add onion and cook until soft, add garlic cook for 1 minute. Add basil and tomato paste, stir then add heavy cream or milk and whisk until smooth. Then add parmesean cheese. Serve over any type of pasta.
